Take time away from the hectic work environment where modern technology is a way of life! Get back to basics enjoying our natural surroundings, depending on forest materials in the same way as our ancestors lived, relying on your instincts, wits and team spirit to achieve amazing results.

Bring your stout shoes, your sense of humour and your thirst for challenges.

Ice Breaker Activities - Working as a whole group enjoying simple challenges to help remove barriers and inhibitions, activating the communication process. The group will begin to be broken down into smaller groups for subsequent activities. 30minutes.

Exhibit Challenge - Working in small groups meet the challenge of finding answers to 80 questions in 15 minutes.

Orienteering - A worksheet based activity-using map reading skills. Familiarising yourselves with the Discovery and Waterside landscape (120acres). Gather the correct information to answer questions and score points.

Assault Course Challenge - Each team is invited to tackle the 18-piece assault course. Along the way there are mental challenges for those wishing to get mental rather than physical! This whole activity is designed to test your groups physical, mental and problem solving skills and how you communicate, encourage and support each other.

Team Games & Problem Solving Tasks - tackle a range of brain-teasers and problems while working as a team to complete knock out challenges.

Environmental Crafts/Tasks - add to the character of the site by practically making something which we can keep. Past activities have included bird-feeders, willow weaving, ditch clearing, habitat restoration plus lots more.

Shelter Building - using a variety of natural materials, construct a shelter in the woods which you would gladly take cover in overnight if you were asked to!

Guided Walks – explore the surrounding area at a relaxed pace on one of many walks of varied lengths.

Ancient Woodland Crafts - discover the ancient arts of woodland technology. Construct shelters, make fire the traditional way, make string from reeds or have a go at pole lath turning -1/2 day or full day (additional cost).

Cryptic Treasure Hunt - using a map and cryptic clues see if you can find your way to the correct destination on the map. There are ten symbols to find in total, five at Waterside and five at Discovery. This takes roughly 1 hour.

Mascot Making - Make a team mascot out of materials gained from the Treasure Hunt, along with some materials provided. 30 minutes in total
