Recently we have had a couple of exciting sightings of Goldcrests at our Forest Garden/Christmas grotto area. Goldcrests are Britain's smallest songbird, a tiny species with small rounded wings, large eyes and a distinctive orange or yellow stripe on their crown. They have a high pitched 'Tsee' call..
