Rudolph relaxes at CONKERS!

Rudolph relaxes at CONKERS!Mon 17 Aug 2009

Visitors to Conkers are going to have something very unusual to see and do on the August Bank Holiday Sunday this year………..

Rudolph the reindeer will be enjoying a little ‘quality time’ having brought Father Christmas to Conkers for his summer holiday – but where is he?

Rudolph will be asking younger visitors to try and help him find where Father Christmas might be by taking part in a special quiz – all will be revealed on the day!

On Bank Holiday Monday our ever popular ‘animal magic’ man, Nick Spellman will be entertaining visitors throughout the day with creatures some of which are spiky, slimy or sometimes, smelly! His varied performance always includes a little magical illusion, fascinating facts about the animals who accompany him – all delivered with a generous sense of humour!

Other furry creatures will also be making guest appearances over the weekend, including lambs, goats, guinea pigs and rabbits – just to name a few! Visitors will be encouraged to visit them in the little farm that will be on site during Sunday and Monday, to give them a stroke and some will also need feeding – but it’s first come, first served!

CONKERS will be open to the public from 10.00 a.m. until 6.00 p.m. throughout the Bank Holiday weekend and normal admission prices apply. Rudolph will be on site for Sunday, only (as he has to get back to Lapland!)

Nick Spellman will be appearing on Monday, only and the ‘animal farm’ will be on site for Sunday and Monday.
