Ruldolph at CONKERS

Despite the changeable weather over the Bank Holiday Weekend, Rudolph the Reindeer proved himself to be the star attraction for visitors at Conkers Discovery Centre.

Having brought Father Christmas to Conkers for his summer holiday, Rudolph was challenging young visitors to complete his quiz which consisted of a rather unusual trail of Santa’s clothing around the site.

Hundreds of children and families took part in the quiz and were all rewarded with a small prize at the end.

Meanwhile, Rudolph was kept extremely busy – having to pose for several hundred photographs with visitors! The gentle reindeer, who comes from Scandinavia, was happy to nuzzle up to visitors of all shapes and sizes whilst they had their photos taken – some even got a ride on his sleigh!

Rudolph will be accompanied by several of his friends when he returns with Santa for the annual Winter Wonderland at Conkers, which commences from Saturday 21st November this year – extended due to popularity, but places are limited to bookings only. (Phone 01283 216 633 ext 0)
