Visitor Information

CONKERS the hands on experience is open all year round and is only five miles from Junction 11 on the M42. Suitable for a day out anytime of the year, fun, entertainment and discovery are all rolled into one. Children and adults can explore the interactive exhibits indoors, including a simulated tree top walk, tackle the assault course outdoors and take a ride on our steam train.

Opening Times & Admission Costs

  • Open daily except Christmas Day
  • 10 am - 6pm (Summer)
  • 10 am - 4.30pm (Winter). Though from February half-term closing time will be 5.00pm.
  • Last admission 1 hour before close
  • Adults: £6.32 (£6.95 including Gift Aid)
  • Child (3 - 15): £4.50 (£4.95 including Gift Aid)
  • Child under 3: Free
  • Family (2 adults and 2 children): £18.15 (£19.95 including Gift Aid)
  • Seniors and Students: £5.41 (£5.95 including Gift Aid)
  • Annual Membership Passes and Special Group and Educational Rates available
  • There is an additional charge for the new indoor adventure play
  • Please note all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Gift Aid - The Heart of the National Forest Foundation is a trust that owns CONKERS and has the wider objective of creating recreational forests and parkland for the local and regional communities' enjoyment including the future maintenance of these amenity areas. They could claim back "gift aid" tax on your annual membership or daily entry fee - this currently amounts to 28p in every £1 if you pay 10% Gift Aid with your admission ticket. Please complete the forms when you enter or take out your annual membership to allow them to claim back this tax and use it for charitable purposes. Thank you.

Toilets and Baby Changing Facilities
Toilets and baby changing facilities are available.

Disabled Facilities
Disabled access indoors at the Discovery Centre and Waterside including toilets, restaurants and shops. Outdoors the train and a good proportion of the trails are wheelchair friendly. There is also designated parking and mobility buggies are available with a driver, which need to be pre-booked, please call reception on 01283 216633.

Parking
Free parking for cars and coaches.

Dogs
Only assistance dogs are allowed to visit CONKERS.
