My visit to CONKERS - Himani Solanki

I visited Conkers with my family. It was a hot and sunny day. It was very busy. When we were at the lake, I saw ducks, nearby there were pheasants and quails inside cages.

We reached the story hut. We were early and there was less people there so we sat down in the shade. Then the Park Ranger came and read a book called the Big Bad Wolf is Good.

Then we went to the Waterside Centre and made a dragonfly. When I finished making my dragonfly, I did a bear hunt. After that we watched a magic show. One of the magic tricks were making a monkey disappear. The man had cards in his hands and all of them had a picture of a animal on them, one of the cards had a picture of a monkey on it.

The man tapped his wand on the card and then turned it around and the monkey disappeared. I enjoyed the magic show and at the end he was giving out wands for £2. After that, I went to do the barefoot walk. First I did it with sandals on and then I did it with bare feet. I had to cross mud and water and pebbles and logs. Then I went to the cabin to wash and dry my feet.

It was time to go home after a lovely day of adventure at Conkers.
