But who are Planning Solutions? Planning Solutions Limited (PSL) creates opportunities in the tourism, leisure and regeneration sectors.

Established in 1995, it traces its history back to the Rank Group, where it was formerly The Rank Holidays and Hotels Developments division. This division was responsible, amongst many other projects, for the development of the Oasis Forest Holidays product (subsequently acquired by Center Parcs) and the rebranding Warner Leisure Hotels.

Management of Visitor Attractions

PSL specialises in the operational management of visitor attractions generally under long term contract arrangements, for third party clients that include family businesses, private companies, charitable institutions and public authorities.

PSL works closely with each of these organisations to achieve agreed targets for the delivery of a quality visitor experience and the maximisation of significant income streams.

PSL has made investments in each of these attractions. We take on the risk for the delivery to meet operational targets and offer advise for success.

The National Forest Charitable Trust

 

The National Forest Charitable Trust is transforming dereliction at the heart of The National Forest and creating environmental, educational and recreational facilities for people to enjoy in perpetuity.

The Trust is working closely with the National Forest Company to create the National Forest and ensure its stewardship for future generations.

The Trust was formed by a partnership of private sector individuals with East Midlands Development Agency, Leicestershire County Council, The National Forest Company, North West Leicestershire District Council and the Ashby Woulds Regeneration Forum.

The Trust is a charity constituted as a company limited by guarantee. It has two wholly owned subsidiaries. The Forest Experience Limited is responsible for the operation of CONKERS. The Heart of the National Forest Park Developments Limited is responsible for the creation of the Heart of the Forest woodland park.
