Is parking free?

Free parking for cars and coaches is provided for visitors to CONKERS at both The Discovery Centre (300 spaces) and The Waterside Centre (100 spaces)

What is your Dress Code?

Sensible clothing and footwear should be worn at all times when in and about the site. Please note that for health and safety reasons shirts and covered toes shoes must be worn for the activities and on the play equipment.

Can I bring a packed lunch or picnic?

There are outdoor picnic areas and places to sit throughout  the attraction with a lovely view of the lake and grass banks to run around on. Plenty of ice cream available as an afternoon treat too!

Are dogs allowed in the park?

We are only able to permit registered assistance dogs to help disabled visitors.
Whilst assistance/guide dogs are welcome we kindly ask to be able to support finding a suitable table within our Catering Spaces, as to avoid your super dog getting injured whilst quietly resting.

What is your smoking policy?

Due to the size of the attraction, we kindly ask that smoking is kept out of the front of the attraction. 
Smoking (including electronic cigarettes) is not allowed inside CONKERS, particularly in queue lines.


Young Children:

There’s so much for our smallest guests to discover here at CONKERS! From jumping on the Conkachoo train, playing in the Interactive Hall, Watching our 4D films and roaring with laughter in our play areas. We suggest looking into our membership to come and visit our play areas as you please.
Visiting with your kids is made as easy as possible with our team on hand to help point you in the right direction, with all the activities and shows available. And best of all, we allow under 2’s entry FREE!

Entrance wristbands can be supplied:

Place your phone number on the wristband so we can contact you if your group gets separated. These bands are available upon arrival.

Notice for Parents and Guardians: 

Please do not leave your child unattended whilst experiencing our site as we are unable to look after them due to shift changes and team breaks. If you have a particular problem on site, please talk with a member of our team.

Baby Changing Facilities:

Baby changing facilities can be found inside our main buildings. 

Lost Person:

The site also operates a lost person collection point so that they may be reunited for those responsible for them. 


Does CONKERS offer disabled access?

The Discovery and Waterside Centres both offer full disabled access - including toilets, restaurants and the shop. Outdoors the train and a good proportion of the trails are wheelchair friendly. There is also designated parking and mobility buggies are available with a driver, (which need to be pre-booked, please call reception on 01283 21373101283 213731).

Can I book my tickets online if I am registered disabled?

Guests registered as disabled are welcome to buy any of our online tickets and are eligible to bring one helper free of charge.
On arrival please present your ticket and proof of disability such as Blue Badge, DLA/PIP entitlement or Doctor's letter to the member of staff at our admissions to receive your free helper ticket. If there are multiple disabled guests in the group then each guest is entitled to one free helper. 

Can I bring a mobility scooter?

You are welcome to bring a mobility scooter or buggy to CONKERS.  Please take extra care when using them as some areas are harder to navigate.
We do hire out Scooters on site and these need to be booked in advance – 01283 216 633


Options Available:

We know that feeding families can be an adventure all on its own, but we offer something to suit even the wildest appetite in our Catering Spaces, from simple snacks to a big scoop ice-cream or Nachos, Burger and Fries.

Microwaves & Baby Food:

Microwaves are available for the Catering Team to warm baby food.
Jugs of hot water cannot go on the tables due to the risk of spillage. We are happy to warm up a baby bottle in hot water behind the counter for you.

Where can I see food allergy information?

Each of our Food and Beverage units has a special allergy board that will inform you if any dietary requirements you may have are met within certain meals. 

Do you offer kosher food?

Currently we do not offer kosher food, but there are many places to enjoy a picnic in the attraction, so you are welcome to bring a packed lunch.

Do you have a Drop Off and Pick Up Point?

If you are visiting CONKERS to drop off or pick up a friend or family member, the drop off/collection zone at the main entrance. You will not be charged. Please note this is not a parking area.

We love keeping guests like you up-to-date with the latest news and offers at CONKERS.

How long do you recommend we spend at CONKERS?

CONKERS is a large local attraction. We would recommend 3 hours or more with returning visits necessary for many guests.

Do you have ATMs/Cash Machines?

We do not have one at CONKERS, however our main buildings do offer card payment.

Is there free Wi-Fi available?

We will be looking to introduce Wi-Fi at the attraction in the near future

First Aid

First Aid assistance can be found at the Reception desks in either the Waterside or Discovery Centres - or by directly asking any member of Conkers staff (a list of team first aid and defibrillator trained can be found at Discovery Reception).

If you become a member on the day of your visit you can get back the cost of your admission fee for that day! Or join our Members scheme before you go and get in free for a whole year!
