  • Ever wondered how animals survive the cold winter months? Join us to find out which creatures truly hibernate and learn their fascinating survival secrets.

Tuesday – Trails & Tracks

1.00pm to 3.30pm @ Ranger Base Camp

  • Become a nature detective! Learn how to leave a trail for others to follow and have a blast identifying animal and bird tracks in the great outdoors.

Wednesday – Bushcraft (8yrs +)

12.00pm, 1.45pm & 3.00pm

  • Get ready to unleash your inner survival expert! Learn how to make a den, build a fire, and toast marshmallows. A toasty learning experience with fire management coordination!

Thursday – Trees & Seeds

12.00pm & 1.45pm

  • Discover the amazing world of trees and seeds! Learn how they grow, why they’re crucial for the environment, and create your very own leaf identification booklet to take home with you.

Friday – Camouflage & Bird Fun

1.00pm to 3.30pm @ Ranger Base Camp

  • Time to uncover the secrets of nature’s camouflage! Test your skills, learn some awesome camouflage techniques, and challenge yourself to identify birds based on their diet and plumage.

Twilight Walk

3.30pm @ Waterside Education Centre

  • Discover a new world as it emerges from its daytime slumber, and see the nocturnal animals, who also call CONKERS home come out to play!
Arts and Crafts

Drop In Arts and Crafts – 12.30pm to 4.00pm

Seeking a mini project to take home? Head over to our creative corner of CONKERS to imagine and invent, cut and colour, and present your newly formed craft to the world!

The best part is, we clean up any mess!

4D Cinema

Come along with the lively and playful Noah on his wild escapades at the Zoo and beyond. Witness his thrilling journey as he discovers the exotic wildlife and diverse flora surrounding him, and gains valuable insights from the animals. Get ready for a 4D film filled with laughter and excitement!

Looking to conquer a challenge on your visit?

Have a go on the aerial assault course! With sessions throughout the day, our fully trained instructors will guide and lead you through your safety procedures and brief, to ensure everyone has the best memorable experience.

Paint A Pot

We are now offering a fun and relaxing place for people of all ages to come and create something that is uniquely yours.

Whether it be part of your day at CONKERS, or a gift for someone – you can simply come along and enjoy doing something creative at Conkers with family and friends.

There are plenty of pots  to choose from, and a vast range of colours to make them truly yours!

This is an additional activity taking over our shop at Discovery!

Kids have great imaginations and this is a day out not to be missed!
Please let your children know that at CONKERS, if it is drizzly, they will need warm coats and wellies when out on site, and we have lots of hot chocolate indoors after a morning of adventures!
