Events
Waterside hosts live entertainment throughout the year in its fabulous covered amphitheatre. Events include family shows with our ‘Little Forest Dwellers’ and spectacular music festivals. With names such as ‘The Commitments’ and ‘The Levellers’ performing on site, we have become an excellent live music arena for the Midlands. Other in-house events include ghoulish Halloween celebrations, an annual Fireworks extravaganza and from mid-November to Christmas our magical Santa Specials into Winter Wonderland.

We have an action packed programme of events to keep all the family entertained during the summer holidays at Conkers!
Mondays
Come and have some forest fun with our very own Forest Dwellers! Sing and dance to your favourite party songs! Times – 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Held in Conkers Waterside amphitheatre. Also the famous Dream Ponies are back by popular demand. From 12pm till 4pm for children’s rides at the Discovery Centre.
Traditional Sports Day - Join in on a fun day of classic sports including egg and spoon races, sack races, tug of war, welly wangling and penalty shootout! All the school favourites!
Tuesdays:
The irreplaceable ‘Animal Man’ Nick Spellman is here for fun in the sun at Conkers with his award winning Animal Show! Times – 12pm, 1pm,2pm and 3pm. Held in CONKERS Waterside amphitheatre.
Pond Dipping – Grab a net and take a dip in to CONKERS lakes with the rangers! You may be lucky enough to catch a few sticklebacks, pond skaters and even baby tadpoles!
Wednesdays:
Whether you want to be a juggler, an acrobat or a ring master! Come and learn all these important skills at our Circus Workshop! Times – 12pm till 4pm. Held in CONKERS Waterside amphitheatre.
Also today if you see yourself to be a Maid Marian or a Knight in shining amour! Come and forfill these ambitions on the very special Dream Ponies! Times – 12pm till 4pm. Held at the Discovery Centre.
Habitat Trails – Explore our paths and trails deep into the woodlands of CONKERS to see what exciting hidden wildlife you can spot!
Thursday:
Star of CITV, Nick ‘Animal Man’ Spellman will be delivering his exciting show in our Waterside Amphitheatre. Times – 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Held in CONKERS Waterside amphitheatre.
Pond Dipping – Grab a net and take a dip into CONKERS lakes you’ll be amazed at what lives below the waters surface!
Friday:
Go wild in the amphitheatre with those lovable Forest Dwellers! Sing and dance along with Ernest, Ashby, Gabriel and Moira to some classic old and new party songs! Times – 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. Held in CONKERS Waterside amphitheatre.
Assault Course Challenge (For over 13’s, orienteering for the under 13’s) – Challenge your friends and family on the CONKERS full outdoor assault course! For those not quite old enough, enjoy a map and compass challenge exploring all over the paths and trails of CONKERS.
Saturday:
The amazing Green Man is back! Times – 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm
Crafts in the Pavilion – Come join in on some cutting, gluing and fun craft making with the rangers in
CONKERS Discovery Pavilion and create something to take home with you!
Sunday:
Circus Workshops are back on Sunday’s too! Times – 12pm till 4pm.

Please note any charges are in addition to daily entrance fee. All members of the family are encouraged to join in, whatever their age. Some activities may be messy so come sensibly dressed.
