Located in 120 acres of woodland with ponds and lakes, classroom facilities and interactive exhibits, Conkers offers an excellent environment for learning and has been awarded the LOTC (Learning Outside the Classroom) Quality Badge.
Education at CONKERS is based around highly interactive indoor and outdoor experiences, offering a unique mix of ranger-led and teacher-led activities, designed to cover the requirements of Key Stages 1 to 3.
Conkers can assist your visit planning by offering free pre-visits for teachers and group leaders (please telephone in advance to arrange a suitable date).
Conkers can now also offer a full programme of outdoor pursuit activities – suitable for pupils – or even a Teacher’s Team building day!
They are designed to closely support the National Curriculum and in particular the QCA Schemes of work. Programmes are available for Primary and Secondary groups supporting the following subjects: science, geography, mathematics, literacy, physical education, art, design and technology. The Ranger led activities are described on the KS1, KS2 and KS3 pages.
Sessions are designed to last for approximately one hour
and cost £29 to £39 (plus VAT) for groups of up to 35 children, depending on the activity.

All of the indoor and outdoor Teacher led module sheets sheets listed in the downloadable pdf’s opposite are available for KS1 and KS2. Sheets suitable for students and older children are also available on request. Each sheet costs £1 and you will be sent an individual master copy.
